Attention!!

Families,
An accident on Route 1 north of Dover is causing significant delays. Buses may be delayed getting to school. All of our scholars are safe and sound.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
Due to an issue with the gas in Dover, DE, some of the campus is experiencing issues with heating and hot water. Our middle school is experiencing extremely low temps and has no hot water. We need to dismiss school early today. Unfortunately, we cannot just dismiss our middle school due to the buses having other runs, so....We will dismiss ALL student (high school and middle school) at 11:15am. Please be aware that students will be at their hub stops early today. We are sorry for any inconvenience; however, our students' safety is our biggest concern.
The softball team will still have their game today. They will be held at the high school until game time (We will ensure that they eat).
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Dr. Edney

Due to buses not being able to get through to the New Castle County stops and the continued freezing rain in the other parts of the state, ECS will be closed today, January 16th. This will allow for time to make the secondary and tertiary roads safe for bus stops. All activities are cancelled. Students with DSU classes should access them on Blackboard.
